A dial around service allows you to make long distance calls from your home or business by dialing an access code or a toll free access number prior to dialing the long distance phone number you are calling.
Dial around services bypass the regular long distance carrier; thus the name dial around. Dial arounds with ANI recogition don't require you to enter a PIN number, but you must have caller id enabled on your phone in order for the system to recognize your phone number. Programming your access number into a memory phone makes dial around an easy way to save money on your long distance bills.
