Choosing a Prepaid Calling Card
Prepaid calling cards are cards you purchase for a set price to make local or long distance phone calls. Cards are usually sold in set dollar amounts or with a set number of minutes pre-loaded.
Many people use a pre-paid phone card because of the cards convenience - it can be used anywhere and, since you pay in advance, there is no bill. Pre-paid phone cards are popular among travelers, students, people who frequently call overseas, and those who havent selected a long-distance service.
Before buying a prepaid calling card you should know the terms and conditions of any card you are considering. Some have short term expiration dates or charge a monthly maintenance fee. Know the billing increments. Most will bill in full minute increments, but there are some that bill in 3 minute increments and even some that bill in 1 second increments. So know before you buy and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us for help.
